St Mark's Nursery School Program

Welcome to the home page of St. Mark's Nursery School, a fully licensed facility.  Our program was established in
1988 to provide for the growing need for preschool services due to the increasing number of young families in both
the parish and the community.  Our school provides developmentally appropriate morning programs for three and
four year old children.  The goals of each program reflect a desire to nuture the growth of every individual child
and to provide all students with a variety of learning and social experiences.

Our staff

Our experienced teaching staff is both certified and licensed and has undergone CPR and first aide training.

The staff includes:

  • Beth Smarse, M. Ed., Director, 4 yr. old class teacher
  • Sarah Garofalo, 3 yr. old class teacher
  • Stacie Street, 4 yr. old class assistant teacher

Our programs

Our programs offer a small student-to-teacher ratios, religious education, and a developmentally appropriate curriculum. St. Mark's Nursery School staff strive to help children develop specific goals throughout their time in the program.  Letter recognition, math concepts, social skills, and religious education are just a few of the topics we regularly focus on.
